Custom homes, thoughtful additions, and full-scale remodeling in Sandwich—planned for your property, your family, and the character of the Cape's oldest town.
Local experience matters
Sandwich has been here since 1637, and building well in the Cape's oldest town means respecting that setting—working with the site, meeting local review requirements, and standing up to salt air, coastal moisture, and New England seasons.
DC Builders has worked on Cape Cod for more than 40 years. Owner Dave Cleary stays involved from the first conversation through the final walkthrough, giving homeowners one experienced point of accountability throughout the job.

Discuss your plansSandwich service area
DC Builders is based in East Falmouth and serves homeowners throughout Sandwich and the surrounding Upper Cape. Every property is different, so the first step is a conversation about your site and project.
Historic-district & permitting planning
Building in the Cape's oldest town comes with an approval path worth mapping before construction begins. Homes along Route 6A fall inside the Old King's Highway Regional Historic District, where exterior changes visible from the road need Historic District Committee approval—review time that should be planned into the schedule, not discovered mid-project. Marsh and bay-side lots on the Cape Cod Bay side often involve Conservation Commission review as well.
DC Builders helps organize those approvals and decisions with the design and construction team, turning a long list of requirements into a practical scope and a realistic timeline.
